Rev Alban Edgar Brunskill Davis, http://goo.gl/uQvA2, whom I featured in my Welcome post, was Rector of Brympton d'Evercy. My grandfather told a story of the first time he ever saw a motor car. As a child, he was travelling back from Yeovil to Brympton on a cart when a car appeared. The horse took fright and the cart ended up in the ditch but my grandfather fell in love with cars on the spot.Carohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04977450933277241692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-612731037367610064.post-81083254924648759412010-11-29T10:38:38.295+00:002010-11-29T10:38:38.295+00:00Good to meet another UK genealogist; welcome, Caro...Good to meet another UK genealogist; welcome, Caroline!

I live in Yeovil (so not too far away!).
